BDNY Recap Story

In early November, Moen was one of 325 exhibitors who displayed unique and innovative product at Boutique Design New York, (BDNY). Currently in its fourth year, this exciting show attracted 5,000 designers, architects, purchasing executives and developers, in addition to hotel owners and operators. The event showcased the latest products and highlighted emerging trends that are important to the hospitality industry.

Moen had the distinct pleasure of engaging with attendees in several unique ways:

The Gold Key Awards:

As a sponsor of this event, which recognizes design leaders across the U.S. and abroad, Moen was honored to present the coveted‘Designer of the Year’ award to Inga Moore of DBA Europe, a highlight of the evening. To celebrate the launch of its new global brand campaign, which is based upon the simple premise that, “just as a necklace can transform a look, a faucet can change the bath,” Moen gave one authentic statement piece necklace to an audience member, Jamie Williams of tonichi. Shortly thereafter, attendees had the opportunity to view one of the new :30 television commercials, as well as a behind the scenes look at the jewelry designers who were inspired by the Arris™, 90°™ and Weymouth™ collections.

Dinner followed at the member’s only SOHO House Farm-to-Fork restaurant. Guests also received a Moen branded gift bag filled with luxurious surprises.

Necklace Pendant Giveaways:

Small replicas of the authentic statement piece necklaces were hand-made in limited quantity and represent Moen’s new, “Jewelry for the Bath” brand campaign. The company was thrilled with the opportunity to share a piece of their brand with key members of the Architect and Design community, as necklaces were given to attendees throughout the course of events.
