Builders Welcome: Moen's Booth at KBIS/IBS 2016

As a builder, attending the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and concurrent International Builders' Show (IBS) means discovering the latest and greatest options to offer your homebuyers. Moen will showcase both during KBIS/IBS, January 19--21 in Las Vegas during Design & Construction Week.

Michael Reffner, Moen's group product manager, says this year's booth will be full of products sure to appeal to today's homebuyers, while also enhancing builders' margins.

New upgrade opportunities

"Moen's 2016 launches include a heavy emphasis on our builder customers," Reffner says. "You'll see new styles and platforms that add depth and breadth to the Moen product selections builders can offer their customers. That will give consumers more choices and provide more opportunity for you to generate incremental revenue."

One example: Belfield™ by Moen is a new collection of traditionally styled kitchen faucets at an affordable price point. With intricate design touches, such as a decorative spout and Williamsburg-era detailing, Belfield faucets offer a unique level of personalization.

In the bath, look for Moen's new transitional Glyde bath suite. Glyde's graceful, simple curves give each piece a timeless look designed to appeal to more homebuyers, and provide builders with a new price point. The suite will offer homeowners an opportunity to upgrade for a more modest amount.

New Moen-branded garbage disposals

You can also stop by to flip the switch on a new, powerful line of Moen-branded garbage disposals. Options include 1/3, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 horsepower motors and a streamlined design.

All feature the Universal Xpress Mount™ and high-speed Vortex™ permanent magnet motor technology to grind finely and reduce jamming. Preinstalled power cords save you installation steps and money.

New POWERClean™ faucet technology

Speaking of power, be sure to ask for a demo of Moen's new POWERClean faucet technology, which provides more force to get tough jobs done. Available on select faucets, POWERClean has the spray force consumers desire - 150 percent more than other pulldown and pullout faucets - without the worry of unnecessary splashing. Peanut butter, tomato sauce and other tough-to-rinse foods are no match for this powerful spray.

New exclusive with Ferguson

You'll also want to get details of Moen's new distribution partnership with Ferguson Enterprises. Even though the two companies are long-time partners, this is the first time Moen is offering a faucet design sold exclusively at the top-rated wholesale supplier. The new, modern single-handle pulldown faucet will be available at Ferguson showroom locations nationwide and on its e-commerce sites, including Build.com and faucetdirect.com.

New kitchen and bath collections

Riley Kitchen Pulldown

"Transitional designs are a favorite with consumers in both kitchen and bath faucets, and Moen has some exciting new transitional styles launching in 2016 that will expand our choices there," Reffner says.

For the kitchen faucet, transitional designs such as the Arbor, Notch, Voss and Etch collections are sure to appeal to consumers, offering contemporary flair that's approachable and adaptable to nearly any kitchen style. Look for plenty of pull-down and pull out options, as well as Moen's patented Spot Resist™ finishes and MotionSense® technology.

Transitional bath designs will include the Eva, Glyde and Voss suites. For the shower, Reffner says Moen spent a lot of time improving functionality and choice for builders' customers.

"We're finding that consumers really want to add the option of a hand shower along with their showerhead," Reffner says. "We're launching a new showering product that provides the features and benefits consumers desire, at an affordable price point." It was developed under Moen's Thoughtful Design philosophy to ensure its elements are valuable to the trades, while delivering the innovation and elegance their customers want.

"Each year Moen strives to launch new products that meet the needs of our customers and consumers in terms of style, functionality and innovation," Reffner says. "Our 2016 new launches are an exciting mix of these elements, driving growth for Moen and our customers and delighting consumers with the styles, performance and quality they expect from the Moen brand."
